I am a product of the 19th Ward neighborhood where I grew up playing everything from football, baseball, and tennis on the fields, diamonds, and courts at Genesee Valley Park. My favorite memories include those sweltering summer days playing softball at different city Rec-centers while winning championships for the Genesee Section Youth Police Softball League.
I am a graduate of RIT with a degree in Marketing and a focus in Psychology, and have started the Washington Square Community Association, Movies With a Downtown View, the Rochesteriat, and MetroPops with my wife, Stefanie. We’ve lived in downtown Rochester for the past 12+ years, we’ve been married for just about the same amount of time, and I have professionally traveled for Jetblue Airways for nearly 20 years.
For the past 7 years, I’ve been very much enjoying the process of navigating the VA’s bureaucratic maze of endless obstacles with my dad, a combat Vietnam Veteran. [There’s a bit of sarcasm in that last sentence.] My parents instilled in me patience, hard work, and a keen focus on the long-term.
